Bandon Underage GAA Club wish to acknowledge the very large turnout of parents and children that attended the Under 5 to Under 11’s Participation Awards ceremony last Friday evening in the Pavilion. Club Chairman Carl O’Mahony was a very good MC on the night and he was assisted by Katherine O’Donovan Club Runai and Ian Doyle in ensuring the smooth running of the event. Pat Prendergast assisted on the stage with the awards/medals presentations together with our county star Michael Cahalane who gave a short but inspirational speech before the presentations began.   Special thanks as well go to the parents of the under 9 and 10 teams that brought along all manner of lovely foods that were served in the balcony after the event and to the ladies committee that served a lovely selection on hot drinks on the night. 

Remember that there will a Victory Celebration for the victorious  Under 12s, Under 15s and Minor Teams on this coming Friday night 12/01 in the Pavilion at 7 pm.
