There were some mixed results for club teams in the last week. 

An under-strength Intermediate Hurling team were defeated 02-16 to 0-9 by Ballyhea in Brinny on Saturday evening where Jason Hickey, Cha Dullea and Joe Harrington were best. 

A stronger Junior A Football side more easily accounted for St Jamess on Sunday afternoon on a score of 01-13 to 0-8 and look to follow up that performance at home to Barryroe on this Thursday evening at 19.30. 

Also at home next Sunday 06/04 at 05.00 p.m. the Junior Hurlers play their first league game against Kilbrittain and the Minor Hurlers host Western Gaels on Thursday 10/04 at 19.00. 

The Under 14 hurlers defeated Newcestown 04-13 to 02-08 last Saturday evening in Rd 1 of the A-B league and are away to Ballinascarthy at 16.00 on Saturday next 05/04 and at home to St. Pats on Wednesday 09/04 at 19.00. 

The Under 12 footballers were defeated on Monday evening by Clonakilty but the under 11 footballers defeated the same opposition in Clonakilty. 

Please note that outdoor training re-commences on Saturday mornings for under 6, 7 and 8 year olds from this Saturday morning at 10.30 to noon. 



Mycro Helmets
Subsidised Mycro helmets for under age players are available through the County Board. 

They cost 35. The colours available are yellow or black. The sizes available are extra small, small, medium, large or extra large.

A 20 deposit is required before the order is processed.
