Aided by a strong breeze, Charlie Long opened the scoring with 3 unanswered points during Bandons under 12 footballers away league victory over Bantry on last Saturday.

Two quick-fire goals on the 15th minute from Oisin Doyle and Brendan Twohig had Bandon in a very commanding position of 2-10 to 0-1 at the break.

Bandon Defence Tim Twohig and Conor Twomey held firm with no way through for the boys from the west.

Strong counter attacking by half backs Cathal Lynch, Cian Burke and Oisin O'Mahony put more pressure on Bantry defence with further goals from Brendan Twohig and Daithi Collis leading to a final score of Bantry 0-2 Bandon 5-14.
