The under 10's played their final hurling competition of 2014 when hosting a monster hurling last Saturday morning in Autumnal weather.

Bandon entered 3 teams comprising 35 players out of a total of 16 participating teams.

The players really enjoyed the experience and the players' behaviour and sporting attitude was a credit to themselves, families, schools and club.

Aaron Burns and Mark O'Regan displayed their prowess when refereeing on the day and Cork dual-player Damien Cahalane presented medals to all participants.

Lastly, special mention goes to the team mentors of Niall Geary, Marie Allen, Kevin McCarthy, Eoghan O'Callaghan, Pat Ahern, Pa Barry and Finbarr Raymond.

(p.s. there should be photos available from a professional photographer form last Saturdays blitz).
