Friday night at the Munster Arms Hotel.
The food was gorgeous, the music was fantastic, special guest Michael O’Muirearthaigh enthralled the huge crowd, the players received
their county medals and Noreen Crowley was a very worthy recipient of the Life Time Achievement Award.
Ian Doyle Chairman of Bandon Underage Club presented a very comprehensive review of all the clubs activities on and off the field at the
AGM last Wednesday that was very well attended.
Highlights were the all-conquering Under 14 A Hurlers League and Championship victories, expansion of playing members to 300,
continued Coaching Development, Scholl Coaching Programme and the retention of the Gold Standard in the Benchmark 2020 Club Award Scheme
under the auspicious of the Cork Coaching and Games committee.
Secretary Hilary O’Driscoll paid warm tribute to the out-going Child Protection Officer Kathleen Calnan for her work in such an
important niche area for the last three years.
Nielus McCarthy the out-going deputy chairperson was thanked.
John Conroy club registrar was thanked as the numbers registered with the club grows and grows.
Other to receive special mention were Finbarr Lynch as West Cork Board Delegate, Eunice Doyle for the Club Shop, Referees Stephen Murphy
and Ian McCarthy, Brian McCarthy for grounds maintenance, Parents of all children and all those involved with the hugely successful
Big Breakfeast on the morning of the PIHC County Final on the 9th October 2016.

The next Underage night will be the annual Registration Night in the Pavilion on next Wednesday 25th January 7-9pm.
Parents and players to attend and all players must be registered prior to playing in 2017
