Bandon GAA Notes 30-05-2018 - 30/05/2018

Premier Intermediate Footall

On last Friday evening our Premier Intermediate Footballers team were victorious over Rockchapel in a Division 3 Football League game at a very sunny Bandon on a score of 2-16 to 2-11.

This was a very good game and a very good team performance but was particularly memorable for the performances of the debutant Eoin Nolan at top of the Right. His play, movement, passing and attitude were something to behold. The duel of James O'Donovan and Rockchapel's Jason Hickey was also memorable.

Whereas the scoreline might seem to suggest a comfortable win, the last 10 minutes were anything but after two players (Allan Johnson and Jason Hickey) been dismissed on two yellows and Cian O'Mahony had received a black card.

The lads are away to Nemo Rangers at Trabeg on this Thursday evening at 7.30pm..

Team, Pat Prendargast, David Crowley, James O'Donovan, Cian O'Mahony, Eoghan O'Donovan 0-4, Jason Hickey, Donough Lucey, Peter Murphy, James Walsh, Timmy McCarthy 0-1, Alan Johnson 0-1, Philip Crowley 0-2, Marc Sugrue 0-2f's, Barry Collins 1-4, Eoin Nolan 0-2.
