What a job was done by the back room team of Colm Aherne, David O'Donovan, John O'Connell and Jimmy Gabriel in getting the Junior footballers up to defeat St Colums in the absolute thriller last Saturday evening in Castletownkenneigh on a score of 1-10 to 1-9. Report to follow.

The under 16 Hurlers recorded victories over the Gaels of Ahan and Ibane in the last week on score of 2-13 to 1-9 and 2-16 to 2-06 respectively. 

In the first game played at home, the score was 1-5 to 0-4 at half time but a strong second half performance where Michael Laffan, Ciaran Walsh, Anthony Galvin and Seanie O'Sullivan were prominent proved decisive for Bandon.

The under 11s defeated Clonakilty 3-3 to 3-1 in the Convent Pitch on Monday night where the prominent players were D Collins, A O'Reilly, E Twomey, D Wilmot, C Ryan, K Donnellan and H O'Mahony.
