The Junior hurlers were desperately unlucky to concede a late-late goal equalizer against a Doheny's team in the championship also at Ballinacarraiga last week and the teams renew rivalries' at the same venue on Tuesday 28th at 07.15 p.m.

Bandon Under 16B Hurlers are eagerly awaiting the meeting with Ballinascarthy in the west regional final on Thursday 30th in Newcestown at 7.30, after defeating Newcestown recently in the semi final. 

The semi final was played in Ballinacarriga in a close encounter on Tuesday last. 

Bandon were the fancied team after defeating Newcestown in a league match earlier in the year. 

Bandon were one point up at half time 1-06 to 1-05 and survived a late Newcestown rally to come out victorious with a score of 2-13 to 2-11. 

Bandon Scorers were Aidan O' Mahony with 7 points, Shane Looney with 1-01, Conor Calnan with 1-0. Gavin O' Connell and Paul Lang with 0-2 each and Sean O' Sullivan with 0-1

The final hurling championship match of the week sees the Premier Intermediates face off against local rivals Valley Rovers at Kinsale on Saturday night with a 07.00 p.m. throw-in. All support is welcome.
